The Mydata SMD-Tower 200 (now produced by Mycronic) is an automated, high-density storage system designed to manage surface mount device (SMD) reels and trays right on your production floor. It tracks component quantities automatically, virtually eliminates mix-up errors, and provides quick, error-free kitting.

Key Specifications & Features

Maximum Capacity: Holds up to 546 component reels depending on their width.

Reel Sizes: Supports both 4-inch/7-inch and 15-inch diameter reels in widths ranging from 8mm to 56mm.

Footprint: Requires approximately 1.07 m² of floor space, making it highly efficient for factory environments.

Access Time: Features an average access time of 5 reels per minute, keeping assembly lines continuously fed.

Integrated Barcode Scanning: Automatically identifies reels, logs their dimensions, and records all stock movements via the PC database.

Moisture Protection: Can be optionally equipped with a dry-air unit to store Moisture Sensitive Devices (MSDs) in compliance with IPC standards.

System Integration: Communicates seamlessly with your broader material management software (like MYLabel) and surface mount pick-and-place machines to streamline kitting.
